About us
I really got into music when I purchased my first Hi Fi system back in the early 1980's. I managed to get a decent budget system which opened up the records into a sound where I found the vocals and music were even more detailed and exciting.
This meant that late 70's & early 80's music formed a large part of my collection as it was current.
I remember getting all my favourite late 70's singles and putting them onto my new system and listening to them come alive with so much more detail than anything the radio had previously given me.
In amongst those singles were things like Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty, What A Fool Believes by the Doobie Brothers, Stay With me Till Dawn by Judie Tzuke, Message In A Bottle by the Police, Eton Rifles by the Jam and the list goes on forever!
Over the years I collected anything that sounded good to me. However like most people I did start getting into certain groups when I found that I liked everything I heard. The main one was Level 42 whose albums and singles were constantly on my turntable. I've also been fortunate to see them Live a number of times and they were superb and still are as amazing as ever with my last gig being in 2006
Also I loved all of U2's 80's releases Boy, October, War etc. being amongst my all time favourite albums.
Going to the USA with my parents in the early 80's also opened up a whole new range of music and I found myself with some fantastic new songs like Sailing by Christopher Cross, Waiting For A Girl Like You by Foreigner and Broken Wings by Mr Mister, Hall & Oates I Can't Go For That etc. etc.
As a committed Christian I found they were only a few Christian bands which excited me in those early days.
Artists like After The Fire, Mark Williamson Band/Chris Eaton and Michael W Smith.
Fortunately times have changed and now Christian music competes no problem.
Fantastic artists like Delirious, Iona, Tim Hughes and so many others now find themselves producing music that sells to millions Worldwide who might not even share the same faith.
I would like to think that people will listen to the powerful words as well as the fine music and find that there is more to this life and a true purpose for why we are here.
As well as music I also like most sport but particularly football and cricket.
I support Bury Football Club and although I have lived a long way from my home Ramsbottom, Bury since I was 9, my support has never disappeared. It's been tested many times though!!!
I still get to quite a few games every single season and have travelled the country watching them. I used to go to many games with my brother Dave but we live a long way from each other now. Fortunately my eldest son has taken to football and Bury FC and we now continue that countrywide travel to support them.
I am married to my wonderful Wife Hannah and we have two fantastic sons called James and Daniel.

The Birth of Pete Willis Music
While searching for music for myself by going to car boot sales, markets, second-hand shops etc. I found that I was finding lots of items that didn't particularly interest me but that I knew would interest other people. I found that I could buy singles by the box and take out the items I wanted then sell the rest for a profit. I started to do car boot sales and for some rarer items I took out adverts in Record Collector magazine to sell them worldwide.
Eventually the Retail Management area I was in didn't quite interest me much anymore and certainly wasn't competing too well in the wages department.
After a short computer course and some serious encouragement from one of my tutors I decided to take the plunge and set up my own music supply company on the internet which brings me up to today.
